Che Bella! Bags & Purses ~ Betsy (the mom and webperson) has been knitting for pleasure for
many years but took a long hiatus from that truly enjoyable pursuit to have a wonderful career
that kept me very busy. Now that I've "retired," I have my knitting needles and yarn with me all
the time. It's that much fun! When I began making unique knitted and felted purses, so many of
my friends and family loved them that I decided to join forces with my daughter, Emily and start
a small business offering these "bella" bags and purses for sale to everyone. I specialize in felted
purses - those that have been knitted with wool and then washed until the wool forms a felt
fabric. The styles run the gamut from casual to elegant, lined or unlined, beautifully embellished
or perfectly plain, and any style purse or bag can be custom created using a variety of yarns,
linings, handles and embellishments to suit the customer. Che Bella!
Che Bella! Beaded Jewelry ~ Emily (the daughter) has a talent for many different kinds of arts
and crafts - from making flying papier mache pigs to combining mosaic tiles and paint to create
unique three dimensional art pieces. However, she fell in love with making beaded jewelry from
the moment she made her first necklace and has been selling her jewelry in shops and craft fairs
for several years now. She loves to shop for those very special beads and findings that
complement each other perfectly to make a beautiful piece of jewelry. The styles she creates are
as varied as her imagination, and she also loves working with customers to design and make just
the right custom pieces to coordinate with their wardrobes. Che Bella!
Allison ~ (another daughter) lives in London, England and is a very talented singer-songwriter and
musician as well as a Reiki Master and Teacher. The "About Us" section wouldn't be complete
