Information About Materials and Cleaning:
For the knitted/felted purses, I use 100% wool when knitting the body of the purses and bags, but special
yarns (bamboo, cotton, acrylic, silk, etc.) may be incorporated with the wool to achieve a particular look or
effect. Trims and embellishments can be a mixture of cotton, metals, glass, crystal, acrylic, polyester, etc.
The linings are either cotton or a poly-cotton blend.
The textures of the knitted/felted purses range from "Fine" to "Very Woolly" depending on the type of wool
used. Any style purse can be knitted in a different wool if you like the design but would prefer a different
texture for your "custom knitted" purse. Please note that the dimensions of the purse may be changed slightly
when a different yarn is used in the felting process.
Crocheted evening bags are made with acrylic yarns that have acrylic "metallic" threads woven into the yarns.
The linings are polyester satins or taffetas.
Hand-sewn fabric purses are created from a variety of fabrics such as cotton, poly-cotton, and polyester. The
embellishments are made from an assortment of materials including fabrics, metals, plastics, glass beads,
crystals, etc.
